To further strengthen its leadership team, NICL invites applications from qualified, dynamic, and experienced professionals for the position of Chief Investment Officer (CIO).

Position Overview

The Chief Investment Officer (CIO) will lead NICL’s investment division, overseeing the company’s investment portfolio and guiding strategic asset allocation to achieve sustainable long-term financial growth.
The role requires a seasoned finance professional with extensive knowledge of global markets, asset management, portfolio diversification, and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive investment strategy aligned with the company’s objectives and risk appetite.

• Oversee portfolio management, asset allocation, and investment performance monitoring.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of investment professionals to achieve organizational goals.

• Conduct continuous analysis of economic, market, and industry trends to inform investment decisions.

• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, internal policies, and governance standards.

• Collaborate with the executive management team to shape the company’s corporate financial strategy.

• Present periodic investment reports and strategic updates to the Board of Directors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Additional certification such as Actuarial qualification, CFA, or other investment credentials will be an advantage.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in investment management, asset allocation, or portfolio management within the financial services industry.

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale investment portfolios with strong performance results.

  • Sound knowledge of capital markets, alternative investments, risk management, and financial modeling.

  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities with excellent communication skills.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in reputable investment or financial institutions.

Mode of Employment

• The appointment will be made on a contractual basis (open-ended) under mutually agreed terms and conditions.

• The selected candidate will receive a competitive market-based salary and benefits package, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and performance.
