Punjab University has officially commenced the registration process for the second entry test for admissions into undergraduate programs for the 2025 academic session, according to university spokesperson sources.
As per the announcement, registration for the second entry test begins today, and prospective students can register until July 4, 2025. The test is mandatory for all applicants seeking admission to any undergraduate program offered by Punjab University.
Second Test Opportunity for All Applicants
Candidates who already appeared in the first entry test are also eligible to reappear in this second test to improve their scores. This provides a valuable opportunity for students who may not have performed well initially or those who wish to enhance their merit score.
Test Date and Locations
The second entry test is expected to be conducted on July 20, 2025, and will be held simultaneously across major cities in Pakistan, ensuring wide accessibility for students nationwide. Test centers are likely to be established in major cities such as Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Quetta, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, and others, depending on the number of applicants.
Admission Criteria
The university has clarified that 25% weightage in the overall merit formula will be based on the entry test score. The remaining 75% typically consists of academic qualifications such as Intermediate or equivalent results. This test plays a critical role in determining admission to competitive programs.
