The University of Punjab has announce the admission for LLB (4-Years) program academic session (2025-26). If you are interested to get admission in LLB so it is compulsory to appear in PU admission test. The weightage of PU Admission test result is 25%. The candidates also have cleared Law Admission Test (LAT) conducted by HEC with 50% passing marks and with a validity date for admission as per HEC policy.

Who Can Apply For Admission?

1. The candidates who have passed FA/F.Sc./'A' Level or equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% marks. Or the admission to LLB 4-Years Program will be made provisionally on the basis of the result of Intermediate (Part-I) Examination 2024 or equivalent for candidate who have appeared in the final examination of Intermediate (Part-II) 2025 with a minimum of 55% marks, or equivalent and are  waiting  for their results.
2. The candidates who have passed the Law Admission Test (LAT) conducted by HEC with 50% passing marks and with a validity date for admission as per HEC policy.
3. The candidates must have appeared in the PU Admission Test conducted by the Punjab University. The candidates will be given 25% weightage of PU Admission Test result.
4. The age limit for the degree must not be more than 24 years of age.
5. The Candidates must provide equivalence/verification of their academic documents from Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC) at the time of admission.

Admission For Undergraduate Programs Academic Year (2025-26)

The University of Punjab has announced the admission for undergraduate programs academic year (2025-26). If you are interested to get admission in undergraduate programs so it is compulsory to appear in PU admission test which will be commenced on June 15th, 2025 (Sunday). This is the tentative test date announced by te PU. The last date for PU online registeration test is May 26th, 2025.

Eligible Candidates For Admission Test

1. Students who have completed and cleared  their HSSC (12th examination) or equivalent.
2. Students who have appeared in the final examination of HSSC and are waiting for result.

 Admission Test Categories

The admission test will conduct in the following seven categories based on academic fields & discipline:

1. Pre-Engineering (PU-E)
2. Pre-Medical (PU-M)
3. Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (PU-AHS)
4. ICS with Physic Combination (PU-CSP)
5. ICS with Statistics Combination (PU-CSS)
6. General Science (PU-GS)
7. Commerce (PU-COM)

According to the University of Punjab the weightage of the admission test is 25% of the total merit calculation. The admission test will allow the candidates to apply for the undergraduate programs on the university poral when the programs were advertize for admission. The result of the last year PU test are not valid for new admissions.

How to Apply for PU Admission Test

2. The Admission Test fee is PKR 2500/- The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
3. Download Fee Challan while Registering for the Admission Test at http://admissiontest.pu.edu.pk. Fee Challan is only available through PU Admission Portal. The Fee can be paid at any branch of HBL, UBL or Mobile Banking through 1Bill.
4. All Applicants are required to upload image of proof of payment on the portal to complete the application process.
5. For Admission to Engineering Programs at University of the Punjab, Lahore (B. Sc. (Engg.) Chemical Engineering, B. Sc. (Engg.) Energy Engineering, B. Sc. (Engg.)Electrical Engineering, B. Sc. (Engg.) Metallurgy & Materials Engineering, B. Sc. (Engg.) Industrial Engineering & Management, PU Admission Test is mandatory as per PEC regulations and scores of E-CAT (UET) or NUST Test are acceptable.
6. Both LAT and PU Admission Test will be mandatory for admission to LLB Programs in University of the Punjab.
7. For admission to College of Art & Design, PU Admission Test is mandatory along with Drawing /Aptitude Test which will be conducted separately in the College of Art & Design.
8. MDCAT or PU Admission Test is valid for admission to the Doctor of Pharmacy Program (Pharm-D).
9. Admission Notice for all Departments/Centers/Institutes/Colleges/Schools of the University of the Punjab will be advertised separately in National Dailies and on the University official website www.pu.edu.pk.
