All educational boards in Punjab will announce the matriculation result on July 24, 2025, simultaneously.
This date was set out at a meeting of the Committee of Chairmen of Punjab Board (PBCC) attended on June 14, according to sources quoted by a privately owned news channel.
Incomplete marking of papers has been cited as the reason why results were not announced in time which has had an effect on the timely processing of results in the boards. Education authorities are putting effort to clear the situation, and the outcomes have to be released by the announced date.
In another event, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has cancelled the HSSC part-I examinations of History of Islam when students compelled the authorities due to inclusion of un-syllabus related questions.
Some of the students had asked that the questions would not be according to their prescribed syllabus and this triggered action. The Board was told by the examiners and BISE soon made a decision and cancelled the paper in the interest of the students towards their academic careers.
The paper that is postponed will be on Tuesday 17, June 2025, in the first batch at the identical centers and with identical roll numbers.
