Punjab Announces E-Transfer Application Reopening Date for Teachers

Teachers in the Punjab Education Department are expected to be able to start e-transfers again within a few days after Eid.

The coming round will concentrate on making changes for about 1,200 teachers who were recently promoted or are going to be.

Nearly 50 teachers in Lahore are not getting the adjustments they were expecting. These placements are meant to be handled during the initial e-transfer of money following Eid.

When promotion is complete, the next round of e-transfers according to merit will take place in July. Evidence shows that this round is meant for teachers to move schools according to open merit rules.

After the open merit process, the Cabinet Committee must review a rationalization plan and approve it. It will make sure that teaching staff are evenly spread out in schools across the province.
