Learning Resource Network (LRN) which is the British examination board, was the first in the world to offer Artificial Intelligence as a subject at GCSE and A-level exams.
As a result of this move, students aged 14 to 19 worldwide will have the chance to study AI in school with LRN’s help. The revised qualifications are meant to equip the next group of learners for a world where technology influences many things.
According to Dr. Muhammad Zohaib Tariq, the head of LRN, the courses will teach about AI strategies the company uses, real-life uses of AI and the ethical concerns that go along with it. He considers AI to be on the same level in importance as Mathematics and Physics as academic subjects.
“This shows Britain at the forefront of teaching AI,” said Dr. Tariq. Thanks to our new Artificial Intelligence (AI) course, students all over the world have a chance to learn the basics for the AI-driven future.
Because AI is changing industries around the globe, putting it in the curriculum now reflects the changing needs of students.
