PMDC Introduces New Online System for Medical Licensing

Through its new digital portal, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) offers a way for medical and dental colleges in Punjab to register online.

Since this online system has been introduced, medical professionals in Punjab do not have to go to Islamabad for registration, because all related work can be handled in the PMDC Lahore office.

PMDC President Dr. Rizwan Taj said that the new platform is a key achievement and will provide all the support required for applicants. All practitioners are ensured greater convenience, as their primary certificates are delivered to them directly by a courier.

Dr. Taj stated that the new digital system for registration is being introduced in stages throughout the nation. The project moves next to Peshawar and Karachi in the second phase, then to Jamshoro and Balochistan in the third. Multan is part of the fourth phase of the rollout.
