National University of medical sciences has offered the MBBS and BDS admission in the affiliated medical and dental colleges. All the details regarding the admission schedule and the admission requirement are available below. The candidates are advised to follow the instructions mentioned by the university officials. 

Registration and Test Schedule 

Following is the registration and the test schedule of the MBBS and BDS degree programs in the NUMS affiliated private and medical dental colleges that include Wah Medical College, Karachi Institute of Medical Sciences, HITEC Institute of Medical Sciences, Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences, CMH Kharian Medical College, Foundation University Medical College, CMH Lahore Medical College and Institute of Dentistry, Bahria University Medical and Dental College, CMH Multan Institute of Medical Sciences, Fazaia Ruth Pfau Medical College, CMH Institute of Medical Sciences, and Fazaia Medical College.

NUMS Eligibility Criteria

NUMS eligibility criterion is stated below and it is essential for the students to fall into the criteria to get admission. 

  • The nationals of Pakistan/AJK/Gilgit/Baltistan are eligible to apply for open merit seats.
  • The applicants must have at least 65% marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent qualification.
  • The candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in MDCAT. 
  • The dual nationality holders can also apply according to the mentioned criteria. 
  • Foreigner/Overseas Pakistani students must have a minimum of 65% marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent foreign qualification
  • The Foreign candidates have to the equivalence certificate along with the application form.
  • The foreign applicants should have passed the national MDCAT exam with a minimum of 60% marks or passed the SAT-II with 60% or more marks. 

Calculation of Merit

The NUMS merit formula for the admission 2020-21 is based on the criteria such as F.Sc (Pre-Medical)/HSSC/Equivalent: 50% and NUMS Entry Test: 50%.

How to Apply?    

  • To submit the application form the candidates have to register online through the CNIC/passport/email address. 
  • The candidates are required to enter personal and academic information while filling the application form.
  • The application processing fee is Rs. 3000/- that can be submitted in any branch of Habib Bank Limited.           
  • After the submission of the application form, the candidates cannot make the changes in it.    
  • Along with the application form the candidates have to submit the latest colored photographs, CNIC/B-form, matriculation certificate, HSSC result card, scanned copy of paid fee challan, and transcript of A-level/O-level in case of foreign qualification.                
  • Incomplete application forms will be rejected.
  • NUMS will generate merit for each affiliated medical and dental colleges.
  • Colleges will make the admission on the allocated seats as per the criteria provided by the NUMS.
