Admission in Foundation University Islamabad is open to all students without any discrimination on sex, religion, color, creed, class and domicile who are academically qualified for admission to the courses of study offered by the university. The admission is offered strictly on the basis of merit determined by the university as per the admission criteria.
Admission forms for all categories are available from the office of the Manager Students Affairs and various locations notified in the advertisement. Online application forms are available at the university website www.fui.edu.pk. Applications are received after the appearance of advertisement in the national press.

equivalent in FSc for foreign qualification
A candidate, who is eligible for admission, must submit attested copies of the specified documents along with the application form and the Deposit Slip covering the application fee within the published deadlines.
Candidates having foreign qualifications i.e. other than Matric/FSc (Pre-Medical) from Pakistan should obtain equivalence certificates from the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Islamabad.
The FUI also offers Need Based Financial Loan Program (Qarza-eHasna) to help the deprived students pursue their education. Moreover the University also rewards students with potential to excel and support them with the Merit Based Scholarships. The scholarship is awarded purely on merit and has no conditions applied for those who excel in studies (No categorization of civilians / armed forces etc). The merit will be determined on the basis of result of annual / semester examination issued by the Controller of Examination.
The weightage for Admission criteria for Pakistani Students:
Matric / Equivalent 10%
Intermediate / Equivalent 40%
Entry Test 50%
An aptitude test / interview of short listed candidates will be held by a panel of three members of FUCD selection team.
Verified Hafiz-i-Quran shall get credit according to the Government admission policy.
The decision of the Admission Committee is irrevocable and final.
