Government announces four Eid-ul-Adha holidays

Islamabad: A notification issued on Wednesday stated that, the Government has announced 4 holidays in connection with Eid-ul-Adha.

The Interior ministry issued the notification on Wednesday according to which September 1^st, 2017 to September 4^th, 2017 are holidays in Pakistan.

Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee organized a moon-sighting session on August 22^nd, 2017 (Tuesday) and announced that Zil-Hajj moon was not sighted.

The Ruet-e-Hilal committee announced that Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated in Pakistan on September 2nd, 2017.
