Undergraduate Result 2026: NED, NUST, UAF and UVAS Entry Test and Merit List Results

Undergraduate results in Pakistan come in two stages: the entry test result, then the merit lists. You check both on each university's own portal. NED publishes a call list and merit list at neduet.edu.pk/admission. NUST posts NET scores at ugadmissions.nust.edu.pk. UVAS publishes merit-list PDFs per programme and campus at uvas.edu.pk. UAF publishes entry test results and 1st, 2nd and 3rd merit lists at uaf.edu.pk.

How undergraduate results work in Pakistan

Most public universities don't announce one single "result." You get a test score first. Your merit position follows, built from that score plus your matric and intermediate marks. If you're on a merit list, you still have to pay the fee by a fixed deadline, or the seat goes to the next person.

Read your notice carefully. "Result announced" and "merit list released" are different events, and many students miss the fee date because they treated the first as the second.

NED undergraduate result 2026

How NED merit is calculated

NED uses 60 percent entry test and 40 percent first-year intermediate marks, and candidates need at least 50 percent in the test to qualify. The merit score works out as (0.4 × Intermediate %) + (0.6 × Test %).

For example, 80 percent in intermediate and 70 percent in the test gives (0.4 × 80) + (0.6 × 70) = 74 merit.

NED 2026 timeline

For the 2026 batch, NED's schedule put the first call list and provisional merit list on 16 July 2026, with interviews starting 17 July. Only candidates named on the call list are called for interview and admission. Track updates at neduet.edu.pk/admission.

NUST undergraduate entry test result 2026

Where to check your NET score

Log in to the NUST undergraduate admissions portal at ugadmissions.nust.edu.pk with your credentials. Scores show up on the portal after each NET series. See our NUST NET result page for series-wise updates.

How NUST uses your NET score

NUST counts your best NET score toward the final aggregate, along with your academic record. Merit lists follow the NET series, so a strong early score doesn't stop you from retaking and improving.

UAF undergraduate test result and merit list 2026

UAF releases the entry test result first, followed by the 1st, 2nd and 3rd merit lists, with later lists filling vacated seats. Check the entry test result and the merit list sections on uaf.edu.pk. Our UAF merit list guide walks through the steps.

Closing merit changes every year, so use last year's cut-offs as a rough guide only.

UVAS undergraduate result 2026

UVAS first merit list

UVAS released the first merit lists for 40 programme and campus combinations on 20 August 2026. They cover DVM, Pharm-D, BS Computer Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology and more, across Lahore, Ravi (Pattoki), Jhang and Narowal.

UVAS closing merit benchmarks

Reported first-list closing merits include DVM Morning at 92.931 percent for males and 93.2908 percent for females, and Pharm-D Morning at 93.7572 percent.

Fee deadline

Selected candidates generated a challan from the admission portal at soft.uvas.edu.pk/ug2026/ and had to pay and upload it by 24 August 2026. The notices said a next list would follow on 26 August if seats remained. The first-list BS notices in Lahore showed challans of Rs. 86,160 for morning and Rs. 136,160 for evening programmes.

What to do after you see your result

Confirm your name, form number and programme on the official list, not a screenshot. Download the notice and pay the challan before the deadline. If your name isn't there, watch for the next list; vacated seats usually move merit down.

Result not showing: what to check

Most failed lookups come down to a wrong roll or form number, a CNIC typed with dashes where none are expected, or portal overload on release day. Try again off-peak and use the official site only. Never pay anyone who offers to "find" your result.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I check my undergraduate result 2026?

Wait for the next list, as vacated seats move the cut-off down. Keep your documents and challan details ready.
