PAKISTAN RAILWAYS HEADQUARTERS OFFICE LAHORE
Situation Vacant

Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office Lahore invites applications for the appointment/engagement of retired supervisory staff from the Mechanical Carriage & Wagon Department on a contract basis. The appointment will be for a period of one year, extendable if required, from suitable candidates who have retired on superannuation (aged 60 years). The appointment will be subject to physical fitness.

Terms and Conditions for Contract Appointment

  1. Only candidates who have worked in the above categories are eligible for the contract appointment.
  2. Selected candidates will receive salaries corresponding to BS-06, BS-09, BS-12, and BS-14 based on their last drawn pay, along with allowances as per contract appointment rules. They will not be entitled to any gratuity or pension benefits.
  3. The contract period will initially be one year, extendable for another year if required by Pakistan Railways.
  4. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any application without explanation.
  5. The number of posts may change without notice.
  6. Selected candidates must pass a medical fitness examination conducted by Pakistan Railways Hospital.
  7. Candidates who were retired compulsorily, dismissed, or retired on medical grounds are not eligible.
  8. Call letters will only be issued to candidates eligible for contract appointment.
  9. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview or medical examination.
  10. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in the entire Pakistan Railways system.

b. National Identity Card (Computerized)
c. Railway Retired Identity Card/Experience Certificate
d. PPO (Pension Payment Order) photocopy
e. LPC (Last Pay Certificate) photocopy
f. Service certificate
g. Three recent passport-sized photographs
h. Three self-addressed postal envelopes with contact details and cell number
i. Experience certificate from a reputable organization
