CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment against the following vacant posts under the PSDP Project titled:

“Procurement/Manufacture of 230 Passenger Coaches”

Pakistan Railways Carriage Factory, Islamabad

The positions are purely on a contract basis, initially for a period of one (01) year, extendable till completion of the project. Appointments will be made under the Standard Pay Package 2022 for PSDP-funded project staff, subject to the eligibility criteria mentioned below.

1. CNC Machine Operator (PPS-04)

No. of Posts & Quota:

  • Punjab: 01

  • Sindh: 01

Age Limit:
18–25 years + 05 years general age relaxation (Male)

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:

  • Matric with Science (at least 2nd Division).

  • DAE in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Technology (at least 2nd Division) from a recognized Board of Technical Education.

Experience:

  • Minimum 01 year experience as CNC Machine Operator.

Preference will be given to candidates who:

  • Have more than one year of hands-on experience.

  • Are trained/certified from a recognized professional institute.

2. Certified Welder (PPS-04)

No. of Posts & Quota:

  • Sindh: 01

Age Limit:
18–25 years + 05 years general age relaxation (Male)

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:

  • Matric with Science (at least 2nd Division).

  • 01 or 02-year Diploma in Welding from a Technical Institute recognized by the Provincial Board of Technical Education.

Experience:

  • Minimum 03 years of experience in welding.

Preference will be given to candidates trained from:

  • Pakistan Welding Institute, Islamabad, or

  • Any Government-recognized institution.
