Applications are invited by Pakistan Railways, Directorate of Land Management, Headquarters Office Lahore, from citizens of Pakistan for appointment on a contract basis against the following vacant posts:

Available Positions

1. Assistant Land Inspector (BS-11)

No. of Vacancies: 08

Qualification:

  • Three (03) years Diploma in Civil Engineering recognized by the Board of Technical Education.

2. Draftsman / CAD Operator (BS-11)

No. of Vacancies: 07

Qualification:

  • One (01) year CAD course from a well-reputed institute.

3. Revenue Assistant (BS-09)

No. of Vacancies: 08

Qualification:

  • Three (03) years Diploma in Civil Engineering OR

  • Matric (2nd Division) with three (03) years Patwar Course.

4. Geographical Information System (GIS) Associate (BS-02)

No. of Vacancies: 07

Qualification:

  • Matric (2nd Division) from any Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE).

1. QUOTAS AND JURISDICTION

  • Only candidates who are permanent residents and possess domicile of the relevant province/region against available quota vacancies are eligible to apply.

  • Applicants may apply for more than one post, provided they meet the qualification criteria.

Additional Quotas (for all categories):

  • 5% quota for Minorities / Non-Muslims

  • 5% quota for Orphans / Destitute persons

  • 2% quota for Persons with Disabilities (where applicable)

2. AGE LIMIT

  • General Age Limit: 18 to 25 years

  • General Age Relaxation: 05 years

Additional Age Relaxation:

  • 03 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Sindh (Rural), Balochistan, recognized tribes of Tribal Areas, Azad Kashmir, and Northern Areas.

  • Ex-Servicemen: Up to 15 years or actual service rendered, whichever is less.

  • Government servants / contract employees with 2 years continuous service: Up to 10 years, maximum age limit 55 years.

  • Persons with disabilities: 10 years.

  • Widow or child of a deceased Civil Servant (died during service): 05 years.

Note: Only one category of age relaxation will be allowed if a candidate qualifies for multiple categories.

3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES

  • Selection will be based on:

    • Written Test: 70%

    • Interview: 30%

  • Candidates serving in Pakistan Railways or any other government department must apply through proper channel with NOC.

  • Incomplete applications or those containing incorrect information will be rejected.

  • No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview.

  • Selected candidates will be required to:

    • Pass medical examination

    • Obtain security clearance

    • Undergo prescribed training

  • Candidates may be posted anywhere in Pakistan Railways against the concerned cadre.

  • If any document is found fake or bogus at any stage, the appointment shall be cancelled and legal action may be taken.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to reject any application or cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason and may alter the number or distribution of vacancies.

  2. Interested candidates must apply through the National Job Portal (NJP) at www.njp.gov.pk within 20 days of publication of this advertisement.

  3. A processing fee of Rs. 1,000/- per application must be deposited at:

    • C.C.T Cash Office

    • All Station Masters

    • Booking Offices of Pakistan Railways

    The Miscellaneous Receipt (M.R) must be uploaded with the online application.
