Available Positions:

1. Sindh Sales Tax Officer (SRB Scale 16)

• Number of Positions: 14

• Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or Law from an HEC recognized university.

  • Marks: Minimum 60% (if percentage is shown) or a CGPA of 2.5 (if mentioned on transcript).

  • Note: Degrees in other subjects will not be accepted.

  • Skills:

    • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Fluent in English and Urdu/Sindhi.

  • Domicile: Candidate must have a domicile and permanent residence certificate (in Form D) issued by the province of Sindh.

  • Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as of October 20, 2025.

2. Public Liaison Officer (SRB Scale 14)

• Number of Positions: 14

• Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution.

  • Skills:

    • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Fluent in English and Urdu/Sindhi.

  • Domicile: Candidate must have a domicile and permanent residence certificate (in Form D) issued by the province of Sindh.

  • Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as of October 20, 2025.

Note:

1. Retention of Services (Sindh Sales Tax Officer): The retention of the Sindh Sales Tax Officer (SRB Scale 16) will depend on overall performance and successful completion of prescribed training, including a mandatory Final Passing Out Examination and termination of the probation period.

2. Employment Terms: The terms and conditions of employment will be governed by SRB regulations.

3. False Information: If false or forged information is provided in the application, SRB reserves the right to disqualify the candidate at any stage of the recruitment process, and the costs incurred will be recovered from the applicant.

4. Right to Abandon Process: SRB has the right to abandon the hiring process at any stage and to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.

Important Instructions:

1. Test Fee:
   Eligible candidates are required to deposit a screening/test fee of Rs. 1500 through a fee voucher at any branch of Meezan Bank (limited to the account of IBA Karachi).

   • The test fee is non-refundable/non-transferable.

   • Ensure correct completion of the application form to avoid rejection.

2. No TA/DA: No TA/DA or other allowances are admissible for attending the written test, group discussion, or interview.

3. Document Requirements:

   • All documents (original with photocopies) will be required at the time of the group discussion and interview.

4. NOC for Government Employees:
   Candidates working in any Government/Semi-Government Department or Statutory Body must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective employer at the time of the interview.

Additional Notes:

1. Government of Sindh Quotas: The quotas prescribed by the Government of Sindh for women, specially-abled persons, and minorities will be observed.

2. Urban/Rural Quota: The urban vs. rural quota of Sindh Province will also be applicable.

3. Test Locations: The written test will be conducted by IBA Karachi at their specified locations in Sindh: Karachi and Sukkur.

4. Bond Agreement: Successful candidates will sign a Bond with SRB upon joining, binding them after appointment.
