Job Opportunity: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Position Overview:

Land Information & Management System, a forward-looking organization under the Green Pakistan Initiative (Pvt) Ltd, invites applications from experienced finance professionals for the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This leadership role requires strong financial acumen, strategic insight, and experience in managing complex financial operations—especially in innovative or public sector settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement futuristic financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.

  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, audits, and statutory financial requirements.

  • Create financial models and manage budgets for government- and donor-funded projects.

  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to ensure financial integrity.

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, including those set by SECP, SBP, and other public sector governance frameworks.

  • Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and profitability improvement.

  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

  • Coordinate with government departments, donors, regulators, and corporate partners.

  • Supervise accounting staff and contribute to their professional development.

  • Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger functions.

Qualification & Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. Other professional certifications such as ACMA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent are also considered.

  • 10–12 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in startups, innovative industries, or public sector initiatives.

  • Strong knowledge of financial management in government or donor-backed projects.

  • Age Limit: Up to 55 years.
