MEDICAL TEACHING INSTITUTION AYUB TEACHING HOSPITAL, ABBOTTABAD
POSITIONS AVAILABLE

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has designated Ayub Teaching Hospital (ATH), Abbottabad, as a Medical Teaching Institution under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions Act, 2015. ATH has been granted autonomous status and requires the services of professionals for the following positions:

1. Senior Registrar (IPS-06)

  • Number of Positions: 30
  • Requirements/Criteria for Appointment:
    • Qualification:
      • MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
      • FCPS/MS/MD in the respective subject or an equivalent qualification in the specialty recognized by PMDC.
    • Age Limit: 28 to 40 years.
    • Domicile: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
    • Specialties: All Clinical Specialties.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The services will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical and Teaching Institution Reforms Act, 2015, including its amendments and regulations of the institution.
  2. Quota Allocation:
    • 5% reserved for disabled persons (Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Medical Board is required).
    • 10% reserved for female candidates.
    • 5% reserved for minorities.
  3. Only shortlisted candidates will receive interview call letters. Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.
  4. Age Relaxation: Will be admissible as per existing government rules.
  5. Candidates already employed in Government or Semi-Government bodies must apply through the proper channel.
  6. The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
  7. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
  8. For candidates with foreign degrees, equivalence certificates from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) must be provided.
  9. The undersigned reserves the right to cancel the positions/selection process at any stage without providing a reason.
  10. Eligible candidates are required to send attested copies of the following documents:
    • Educational transcripts/DMCs.
    • CNIC.
    • Domicile.
    • Experience certificates.
    • PMDC license.
    • Recent passport-size photograph.
    • Any other relevant documents.
  11. Application Deadline:
    • All applications must reach the Manager, Human Resource, Medical Teaching Institution, Ayub Teaching Hospital, Abbottabad before the close of business on December 19, 2024.
  12. For CGPA holders, equivalence percentage certificates issued by the concerned university/institution must be provided.
