POSITION VACANT

Pakistan Railways invites applications from qualified Pakistani nationals for the following post under the project:

“Establishment of Business Development Unit and HR Support Unit, Pakistan Railways”

Appointments will be made purely on a contract basis under the Project Pay Scale (PPS) system.

1. Security Expert (Investigations) – PPS-00

Number of Posts: 01
Duty Station: Islamabad / Rawalpindi
Maximum Age: 45 years

Qualification

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Forensic Science, or a related discipline (minimum 16 years of education)

  • All degrees must be recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)

Experience & Eligibility

  • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification investigative experience in:

    • Terrorism

    • Espionage

    • Organized crime within law enforcement or defense organizations

  • Proven expertise in:

    • Surveillance techniques

    • Background checks

    • Interrogation

    • Security audits

  • Hands-on experience in:

    • Crime scene management

    • Forensic interviewing

    • Intelligence analysis

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

    • Military investigation

    • Intelligence operations

    • Joint operations with federal or international agencies

  • Experience in supervisory investigative roles and training of investigation staff is highly desirable

General Instructions

  1. Contract Terms: Appointment is on a contract basis for 2 years, extendable annually based on performance or until project completion, whichever is earlier.

  2. Salary: As per the Standard Pay Package issued by the Finance Division (18th April 2022).

  3. Experience Consideration: Only post-qualification experience will be counted for eligibility.

  4. Foreign Degrees: Candidates with foreign degrees must provide equivalency certificates issued by HEC/PEC.

  5. Age Relaxation: General relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is admissible.

  6. Government Employees: Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel with a departmental NOC.

  7. Forgery Clause: Submission of forged or false documents will result in disqualification and legal action.

  9. Incomplete/Delayed Applications: Incomplete, hand-submitted, or late applications will not be entertained.
