EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited from eligible and experienced candidates for the following contract-based positions under the project “Acquisition of Land for Rail Connectivity with Afghanistan from Kohat (Zero Point) to Kharlachi (Km: 192.00) via Thall-Parachinar”. The positions are based at Pakistan Railways Headquarters, Empress Road, Lahore, and fall under the Project Pay Scale (PPS) system. The initial contract will be for one (01) year, extendable on a yearly basis based on performance and project requirements.

?? Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria

2 GIS Expert PPS-07 01 BSc/BS Remote Sensing & GIS (4 years), HEC recognized - Minimum 05 years post-qualification experience in GIS/Remote Sensing
- Expertise in ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Engine (GEE), Civil 3D
- Preferable: Railways/Government sector project experience		 30 years (plus 5-year age relaxation)
3 AutoCAD Expert PPS-07 01 DAE (Civil Engineering, 3 years) - Minimum 07 years of relevant field experience
- AutoCAD proficiency with certificate
- Preferable: Experience in Railway/Govt. development projects		 30 years (plus 5-year age relaxation)
4 Sub-Engineer (Civil) PPS-06 01 DAE (Civil Engineering, 3 years) - Minimum 05 years of experience in relevant field
- Preferable: Estimation, quantity surveying in Railway/Highway infrastructure
- Local candidates preferred		 30 years (plus 5-year age relaxation)
5 Assistant Sub-Engineer (Civil) PPS-04 01 DAE (Civil Engineering, 3 years) - Minimum 02 years of experience in relevant field
- Local candidates preferred		 30 years (plus 5-year age relaxation)

?? Important Instructions

  • Contract Basis: All appointments are purely on contract for 01 year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and project continuity.

  • Posting: Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in Pakistan as per project needs.

  • Age Relaxation: A general 5-year age relaxation is applicable as per government policy (over and above the stated age limits).

  • Salary Package: As per Finance Division’s standard Project Pay Scale (PPS).
