Educational Scholarships for Minority Students

Call for Applications – Fiscal Year 2025–26

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony invites applications from needy students belonging to minority communities across Pakistan for educational scholarships for the fiscal year 2025–2026.

Applications must be submitted on the prescribed form in accordance with the updated policy and rates applicable for this year. The process must be strictly followed as per the instructions below.

Eligibility Criteria:

Who Can Apply?

Only regular students from government educational institutions who belong to minority communities are eligible.

Students must have passed their annual examination in the previous academic year with at least 50% marks.

If the institution uses the GPA system, a certified grade conversion sheet must be attached from the respective institution.

Parental Income Limit:

The monthly income of the student’s parents or guardians must not exceed PKR 80,000.

Application Process:

Online Submission:

Applicants must fill the online form available at:
www.mora.gov.pk

After completing the online application, a printed copy of the form must be taken.

Submission of Documents:
The printed application form must be submitted to the Ministry along with the following mandatory documents:

A verified copy of the application form (with CNIC number) duly attested by the head of the institution.

Attested copies of the previous year's result card or transcript.

Note: For GPA system, attach the authenticated grade evaluation sheet.

For semester systems, attested copies of the last two semesters’ result cards must be provided.

Original income certificate of the parents/guardian.

Attested copy of the student’s CNIC or B-Form.

Bank account proof: Must be in a recognized bank, under the name of the applicant or legal guardian.

Important Guidelines:

All educational documents must be attested by the head of the institution.

The institution must also confirm that the attached result card reflects the student’s genuine academic performance.

Income certificates must represent the accurate financial condition of the applicant’s family.

Students already receiving financial aid or scholarships from other sources are not eligible.

Applications from Madrassa (religious seminary) students will not be accepted.

Applications must be submitted within 30 days of the advertisement’s publication.

After online submission, the hard copy of the application along with all supporting documents must be sent to the Ministry within 5 days.

Only applications submitted online will be considered. Any application not submitted online will be rejected.
