HIGHER EDUCATION COMMISSION (HEC), PAKISTAN

PROJECT-FUNDED POSITIONS – CONTRACT BASIS

Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following project-funded positions on a contract basis.

2 Project Manager PPS-7: Rs. 157,500/- (All inclusive) 04 40 years Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (16 years, 2nd division minimum) with 5 years relevant management experience in Public/Private sector. Proficiency in MS Office required. Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships for Bangladesh, Central Asia & Friendly Countries (HEC)
3 Accounts Manager PPS-6: Rs. 210,750/- (All inclusive) 02 50 years Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (Finance/Commerce or equivalent, 16 years, 2nd division minimum) with 5 years relevant experience in Public/Private sector, including 3 years managerial experience. Proficiency in MS Office & MS Project compulsory Merit-based Scholarship Projects (HEC)
4 Assistant Accounts Manager PPS-6: Rs. 105,000/- (All inclusive) 01 40 years Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (16 years, 2nd division minimum) with 2–3 years relevant experience HEC Scholarship Programs
5 Office Assistant PPS-6: Rs. 105,000/- (All inclusive) 01 40 years Matric / Intermediate with 1–2 years relevant experience HEC Scholarship Programs
6 Office Assistant PPS-5: Rs. 70,000/- (All inclusive) 03 40 years Matric / Intermediate with 2 years relevant experience HEC Scholarship Programs
7 Diary Dispatcher / UDC PPS-3: Rs. 43,750/- (All inclusive) 01 35 years Matric with 1 year relevant experience HEC Scholarship Programs
8 Naib Qasid PPS-2: Rs. 37,000/- (Minimum wage) 01 35 years Literate, with preference to prior experience HEC Scholarship Programs
9 Attendant / Misc Staff PPS-1: Rs. 37,000/- (Minimum wage) 01 35 years Literate HEC Scholarship Programs

Note: “Experience” refers to experience gained after obtaining the minimum required qualification. Part-time, honorary, or internship experience will not be considered.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be Pakistani Nationals.

  • Age limits include a 5-year general relaxation; additional relaxation may be granted as per government rules.

  • Candidates must meet the minimum educational and experience requirements as specified for each position.

  • Proficiency in MS Office is required for most positions.

  1. Applications must be submitted online only via HEC Careers portal: https://careers.hec.gov.pk

  2. No hard copies of CVs or documents are required.

  3. A processing fee of Rs. 1,000/- may be deposited via mobile banking app or mobile wallet.

  4. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for test/interview.

  5. Candidates currently in government service must apply through proper channel.

  6. Candidates may be posted anywhere in Pakistan based on project requirements.

  7. Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.

Important Notes

  • TA/DA will not be provided for appearing in the test/interview.

  • HEC reserves the right to increase/decrease vacancies or cancel/reject applications without assigning a reason.

  • Only authenticated and attested documents will be considered.
