Our client, a Karachi-based organization, is seeking to appoint experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented professionals for the following positions. The company offers a challenging work environment with opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.
The incumbent will be responsible for leading and expanding the Convenience Store (C-Store) and Non-Fuel Retail (NFR) business segment. The role involves full operational ownership, profitability management, brand standard implementation, and strategic business expansion, including franchising opportunities.
Conduct market research to identify emerging retail trends and new NFR opportunities.
Evaluate innovative business models and recommend viable expansion strategies.
Assess feasibility of franchising the convenience store model in target markets.
Develop franchising strategies including operating models, partner selection, support systems, and regulatory compliance.
Own and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) of company-operated convenience stores.
Oversee daily store operations independently to ensure operational excellence.
Drive profitability through effective working capital management.
Optimize inventory levels and staffing efficiency.
Deliver exceptional customer experience across all stores.
Define and implement “Perfect Store” standards including:
Visual merchandising
Store layout and product display
Cleanliness and service quality
Conduct regular operational audits and track KPIs.
Develop corrective action plans to address performance gaps.
Track, analyze, and report financial performance including:
Sales growth
Gross margins
Cost controls
Shrinkage
Inventory valuation
Set and monitor performance targets focused on sales growth, margin improvement, and cost efficiency.
Plan and implement promotional campaigns in collaboration with merchandising teams.
Develop pricing strategies and local store marketing initiatives.
Establish and manage proprietary distribution systems for product delivery to C-stores.
Support the Head of NFR in executing additional strategic initiatives as assigned by management.
Minimum 16 years of education.
Preferably a Master’s degree from a renowned and HEC-recognized university or an equivalent foreign institution.
6–8 years of professional experience in retail management (e.g., convenience stores, hypermarkets, fashion retail).
At least 2–6 years of functional experience in a similar leadership role.
Proven experience in managing working capital, budgets, and financial performance in a retail environment.
Strong expertise in inventory planning, vendor management, and customer service initiatives.
Exceptional communication and supplier negotiation skills.
Results-driven mindset with adaptability to changing business priorities.
Preferably not more than 40 years as of the application closing date.
The position is responsible for SAP user access management, security compliance, authorization control, and audit support across SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BI, Fiori, and HCM.
Create, modify, and block SAP user IDs based on HR movements (joiners, transfers, exits).
Assign and maintain user roles using PFCG as per approved access requests.
Execute daily provisioning of user access across SAP systems.
Analyze and troubleshoot authorization issues.
Maintain HR structural authorizations in SAP HCM aligned with organizational hierarchy.
Collaborate with functional consultants to implement second-level authorizations.
Assist in SAP license tracking and user classification for compliance purposes.
Document all security-related changes in accordance with audit requirements.
Monitor system alerts and escalate issues when required.
Participate in periodic cleanup activities (unused roles, expired access, inactive users).
Support implementation of audit recommendations and internal control improvements.
Minimum 16 years of education.
Preferably a Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university or equivalent foreign institution, ideally in IT or a related field.
3–4 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national or multinational organization.
At least 1–2 years of hands-on functional experience in SAP Security or a similar role.
Strong understanding of SAP security operations.
Experience working with SAP functional consultants to define and implement authorization controls.
Familiarity with internal audit procedures and compliance standards.
High level of accuracy and diligence in handling sensitive access data.
Preferably not more than 33 years as of the application closing date.
