Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer (CEO)


About the Organization:

Our client is a public sector entity operating under the administrative control of the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan. The organization is responsible for planning, exploration, evaluation, extraction, production, development, and marketing of minerals, metals, and ores.


Position Overview:

The organization is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to serve as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Managing Director (MD) to lead the team, drive growth, and spearhead the next phase of expansion.


Desired Candidate Profile:

Educational Qualifications:

Graduate degree (preferably postgraduate or master’s) in one of the following fields:

Engineering

Economics

Earth Sciences

Law

Finance

Accountancy

Business Administration

Degree must be from an HEC-recognized/accredited local institution or a reputable foreign university/institution.

Professional Experience:

Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience.

At least 5 years in a leadership role.

Relevant sector experience (local or international) mandatory.

Familiarity with the operational environment in Balochistan is considered an advantage.


Age Limit:

Not exceeding 57 years as of the date of application.


Additional Information:

Role based in Quetta and Islamabad.

Term of appointment: Three (03) years.

Appointment will comply with the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance & Operations) Act, 2023 and other relevant laws, including "Fit and Proper Criteria."
