Punjab Life Insurance Company (PLIC), a prominent insurance organization under the Government of Punjab, invites applications from experienced professionals for permanent positions in IT and Software Development. The positions are based in Lahore.


1. Manager – IT Operations and Core Application Development

Grade: Senior Manager
Location: Lahore
No. of Positions: 1

Job Summary / Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and operational stability of core insurance applications.

  • Lead the design, development, customization, and enhancement of Life & Health Insurance systems.

  • Manage the end-to-end application lifecycle including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

  • Oversee development using Oracle, Microsoft Database, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, Microsoft Azure, BI Reports, and third-party integrations.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate insurance requirements into secure, scalable, high-performance solutions.

  • Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.

  • Manage application operations including incident management, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.

  • Age up to 50 years (as of January 25, 2026).

  • Minimum 6 years of professional IT software development & IT operations management experience, including team lead roles, preferably in insurance or financial services sector.

  • Proven expertise in designing, developing, and managing enterprise-level core applications & IT operations.

  • Strong experience in system integrations, enterprise architecture, and scalable solution design.

  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent) are an advantage.


2. Manager – IT Infrastructure and Information Security

Grade: Senior Manager
Location: Lahore
No. of Positions: 1

Job Summary / Major Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage network security architecture including Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, NAC, and secure remote access solutions.

  • Oversee Information Security operations, including cybersecurity controls, vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring.

  • Manage Identity and Access Management systems (Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, privileged access, secure authentication mechanisms).

  • Ensure compliance with corporate security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead disaster recovery, business continuity, and network resiliency planning.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to assess risks, implement security enhancements, and drive continuous improvement.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.

  • Age up to 50 years (as of January 25, 2026).

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, enterprise networks, and information security, preferably in insurance or financial services sector.

  • Experience in switches, routers, wireless networks, firewalls, Microsoft AD, and enterprise security infrastructure.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage large-scale network, security, and infrastructure projects.


3. Manager – Integration and Applications Development

Grade: Manager
Location: Lahore

Job Summary / Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead software development and integration initiatives across enterprise platforms.

  • Oversee design, development, testing, and deployment of critical systems.

  • Manage system integrations between core applications, third-party platforms, and digital services.

  • Design and manage system integrations using REST/SOAP API, Oracle, Microsoft Integration Cloud, and middleware platforms.

  • Ensure scalability, security, and performance of enterprise software solutions.

  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, and management to deliver strategic IT projects.

  • Drive modernization and digital transformation initiatives for regulatory integration & compliance.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.

  • Age up to 45 years (as of January 25, 2026).

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Life and/or Health Insurance or FinTech digital banking operations, with at least 4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver mission-critical projects.
