Our client is a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) and a premier Energy Planning and Operations organization, playing a pivotal role in Pakistan’s power sector. The organization is responsible for real-time electricity market operations, ensuring fair and transparent market mechanisms, and strategic planning for the country’s future energy needs.

To strengthen its senior and technical leadership, the organization seeks to hire qualified, talented, and dynamic professionals for the following positions, all based in Islamabad.

Available Positions

1. Chief Legal Officer (CLO)

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Law from a local or international university recognized by HEC, Pakistan

• At least 18 years of relevant post-qualification experience in public, private, or international organizations

• Minimum 05 years of experience in senior management roles or as Head of Department in a reputable organization

• Age Limit: Maximum 57 years on the closing date of application

Additional Requirement

• Applicants must meet the Fit & Proper Criteria as prescribed under Section 16 of the SOE Act, 2023

2. Director (Market Modelling & Finance)

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field from an HEC-recognized national or international institution
  OR

• Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, ACCA, CIMA, or ACMA

• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in:

  • Financial system development

  • Financial modelling

• Strong understanding of:

  • Regulatory and legal frameworks governing the power sector

  • Financial accounting standards

  • Power/energy sector financial modelling and systems development

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years on the closing date of application

3. Deputy Director (Cyber Security)

Eligibility Criteria

• Four (04) years Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science from an HEC-recognized university

• Minimum 06 years of relevant post-qualification experience

Preferred Certifications

• ITIL, COBIT 5

• ISO 27001 / ISO 20000

• CISSP, CISA, CISM, CASP

• SANS GIAC / GCIA / GCIH

• SIEM-specific training or equivalent certifications

4. Deputy Director (Systems)

Eligibility Criteria

• Four (04) years Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Sciences from an HEC-recognized university

• Minimum 06 years of relevant post-qualification experience

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• Certifications such as:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

  • CompTIA Server+

  • VMware VCP

  • RHCSA

• Experience in:

  • Cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure)

  • Scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)

  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Microsoft Intune

• Knowledge of:

  • Linux server administration

  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Azure Backup)
