MANAGER – ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING (AML) SUPERVISION DEPARTMENT – LAHORE

Role Overview

The Manager AML will play a pivotal role in overseeing AML/CFT supervisory activities, ensuring full compliance with ICAP’s regulatory framework, and maintaining alignment with national and international AML standards. This position requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and regulators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead AML/CFT supervisory operations in accordance with ICAP’s AML regulations.

  • Conduct independent offsite and onsite inspections of practicing firms based on AML regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure timely execution of compliance-related projects, including review processes and reporting obligations.

  • Address and resolve technical queries from members, regulators, and stakeholders regarding AML/CFT laws and their implementation.

  • Maintain accurate records as prescribed under ICAP’s AML/CFT framework and relevant legislation.

  • Collaborate effectively with AML/CFT supervisory bodies, including the Financial Monitoring Unit (FMU).

Required Education, Experience & Skills

  • Qualification:

    • Chartered Accountant (ICAP Member), preferably with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in AML/CFT compliance within a supervisory body or financial institution, OR

    • MBA from an HEC-recognized institution with at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in AML/CFT regulatory or compliance functions.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Strong grasp of Pakistan’s AML/CFT legislative framework, FATF recommendations, and international best practices.

  • Core Skills:

    • Excellent report-writing skills with the ability to draft complex technical content.

    • Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER – KARACHI

Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Continuous Professional Development, this role focuses on planning, executing, and supporting initiatives of the Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB) Committee. The position requires creativity, operational efficiency, and strong coordination capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans for PAIB Committee initiatives and professional development activities.

  • Identify and cultivate new opportunities for PAIB advocacy through programs and outreach.

  • Design engaging visual presentations and coordinate with designers and marketing teams for content and social media integration.

  • Ensure on-time, high-quality execution of all assigned initiatives and operational activities.

Required Qualification, Experience & Skills

  • Qualification:

    • Master’s Degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience, OR

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Marketing & Communications, or a related field (HEC-recognized) with 4–6 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing operations, logistics, and coordination for large-scale events, with strong data and record management skills.

  • Core Skills:

    • Proficiency in MS Office.

    • Strong initiative, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to work.
