Our Client, a Karachi-based company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following roles:


JUNIOR MANAGEMENT POSITION - CAPEX PLANNING

Key Responsibilities

Financial Modelling & Analysis: Develop, maintain, and refine financial models. Conduct cost-benefit analyses, and perform detailed business valuations and due diligence for investments and new projects.

Budget Planning & Forecasting: Lead budget planning and forecasting processes, estimate revenues and expenditures, and provide strategic recommendations to align financial plans with organizational goals.

Business Performance Reporting: Prepare periodic reports on business performance, budget adherence, and key outcomes. Identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and present actionable insights to senior management.

Market & Industry Analysis: Analyze market trends, industry data, and economic indicators to assess potential risks, opportunities, and factors impacting products, regions, or industries.

Capital Project Evaluation: Assess the commercial, technical, and financial viability of proposed initiatives and capital projects, ensuring sound business cases and return-on-investment analysis.

Risk Management: Identify and evaluate financial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and contribute to the development of internal controls and governance frameworks.

Budget & CAPEX Utilization: Consolidate and review annual budgets and business plans. Monitor expenditure patterns and ensure effective CAPEX utilization through variance analysis and monthly reporting.

Executive Insights & Reporting: Provide expert financial insights to support executive decision-making. Collaborate with leaders across functions and deliver executive-ready presentations.

Process Improvement & Compliance: Recommend enhancements to financial planning, reporting, and CAPEX management processes while implementing accounting best practices. Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Education

Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master’s degree from a renowned HEC-recognized university or an equivalent foreign degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization, with at least 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role.

Requirements

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).

Advanced skills in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.

Strong understanding of financial models, business valuation techniques, and investment analysis.

Ability to synthesize complex data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

Strong ownership of projects from ideation to delivery, with disciplined stakeholder engagement.

Exceptional attention to detail in financial modeling, executive-level presentations, and concept papers.

Age

Preferably not more than 33 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.


JUNIOR MANAGEMENT POSITION - ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIAL GOVERNANCE (ESG)

Key Responsibilities

ESG Data Analysis: Assist in gathering, verifying, and analyzing ESG-related data across business units.

Sustainability Disclosures: Contribute to the preparation of sustainability disclosures (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, UNGC).

Internal ESG Dashboards: Support the development of internal ESG dashboards and metrics tracking.

Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in stakeholder engagement exercises, including surveys, interviews, and workshops.

ESG Strategy & Assessments: Support materiality assessments and periodic updates of ESG strategy.

ESG Initiatives: Support ESG-related initiatives such as carbon footprint reduction, supply chain sustainability, etc.

Project Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ESG project implementation and track timelines.

Leadership Development: Help develop ESG leadership across the organization through capacity-building and raising awareness.

Education

Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master’s degree from a renowned and HEC-recognized university or an equivalent foreign institution, in a related discipline or combination of disciplines.

Experience
