VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Ministry of Industries and Production (MoIP), Government of Pakistan, is seeking to engage qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals for the following positions under the Special Professional Pay Scale (SPPS) on a contract basis, in accordance with the revised SPPS policy.

?? Available Positions

1. Industrial Economist

Pay Scale: SPPS-III

No. of Posts: 01

Location: Islamabad

Eligibility Criteria:

Master’s degree or higher in Economics, Public Finance, International Trade, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.

Minimum 15 years of professional experience in economic analysis, industrial research, or a related domain.

At least 5 years in a senior role; experience with international organizations is preferred.

Proficient in statistical and econometric software.

Demonstrated expertise in quantitative forecasting, policy analysis, and financial modeling.

Strong understanding of econometric models, data analysis, and interpretation.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

2. Industrial Policy Advisor

Pay Scale: SPPS-II

No. of Posts: 01

Location: Islamabad

Eligibility Criteria:

Master’s degree or higher in Industrial Management, Development Economics, Economics, or related fields.

Minimum 15 years of professional experience in industrial policy analysis, economic research, or industry performance review.

At least 5 years in a senior position; preference for experience with international organizations.

Proven record in industrial policy formulation and evaluation.

Strong grasp of economic principles, market dynamics, and policy frameworks.

Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder coordination abilities.

Recruitment will be made in accordance with the Revised SPPS Policy of the Government of Pakistan.

Interested candidates meeting the required criteria should submit their updated CVs to the Ministry of Industries and Production within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

Maximum age limit shall be governed by the revised SPPS policy.
