ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT BOARD (EDB)

JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Engineering Development Board (EDB)—mandated to develop, modernize, upgrade, and enhance the capacity of Pakistan’s engineering, industrial, and services sectors on globally modern lines—invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the following project-based positions:

1. Advisor / Specialist / Expert (PPS-11, Equivalent to BS-21)

Number of Positions: 04
Maximum Age Limit: 55 Years

Required Qualification:

  • B.Sc./B.E. in Engineering with 16 years of relevant experience
    OR

  • MS in Engineering with 12 years of relevant experience
    OR

  • PhD in a relevant field with 8 years of professional experience

Preferred Expertise:

Accomplished professionals with specialization in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:

  • Aerospace Engineering

  • Electric Vehicles (EV)

  • Renewable Energy

  • Robotics

  • Chemical / Steel Engineering

  • Advanced Manufacturing

Candidates possessing advanced management degrees from HEC-recognized, top-ranked global institutions will be given due preference.

2. Business Development Officer (PPS-07, Equivalent to BS-17)

Number of Positions: 01
Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years

Required Qualification:

  • 16 years of education in:

    • Business Administration

    • Management Sciences

    • Marketing / Public Relations

    • Or any related discipline

Required Experience:

  • At least 05 years of post-qualification experience in:

    • Media coordination

    • Stakeholder engagement

    • Managing seminars, workshops, conferences, symposia, and official events
