Position Details
- Job Title: Head of Leadership Development (VP/SVP)
- Department: Learning & Development (L&D)
- Reporting To: Divisional Head – L&D
- Location: Karachi
- Number of Positions: 01
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international institution
- Candidates with a Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certifications will be preferred
Experience
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in:
- Learning & Development
- Leadership Development
- Human Resource Management
Required Skills & Expertise
- Proven experience in designing and implementing leadership development programs
- Strong understanding of modern leadership trends and training methodologies
- Up-to-date knowledge of market practices in leadership development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing and leading leadership development initiatives aligned with the Bank’s strategy
- Evaluating and recommending leadership training programs
- Developing in-house training modules and coordinating with external vendors
- Ensuring training materials remain current and relevant to industry trends
- Collaborating with senior management to build leadership capabilities
- Developing long-term leadership strategies and identifying leadership traits
- Establishing competency-based assessment centers
- Creating development plans for:
- High-potential employees
- Critical staff and successors
- Supporting succession planning initiatives
- Communicating development programs across the organization
- Partnering with stakeholders to enhance organizational capability and talent growth
- Promoting a culture of high performance within the Bank
- Preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review
- Managing the budget for leadership programs
- Performing additional tasks assigned by supervisors
Selection Process
