HRSG – Search & Advisory is recruiting on behalf of a reputable financial institution (equal opportunity employer) for a senior leadership role based in Karachi.

Position Title

Group Head – Legal (SVP / EVP Level)

Job Overview

The selected candidate will head the organization’s legal function and provide strategic direction on all legal matters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising the Board of Directors and senior management on legal issues
  • Managing litigation and dispute resolution
  • Ensuring compliance with:
    • Corporate governance standards
    • Regulatory requirements
  • Overseeing:
    • Drafting, review, and vetting of legal documents, contracts, and agreements

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

  • LL.B or LL.M (minimum 16 years of education)
  • Degree must be from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience
  • At least 6 years in a senior management role
  • Mandatory experience in the financial sector

Age Limit

  • Up to 50 years (as of the application deadline)
  • Relaxation may be granted for exceptional candidates
