ob Opportunities in WAPDA for Retired Armed Forces Personnel
Applications are invited from retired Armed Forces personnel for the following positions:
1. Director (Security)
- Number of Posts: 01
- Place of Posting: Anywhere in Pakistan
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Retired Colonel / Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent rank from the Armed Forces.
- Maximum Age: 50 years
- Quota: Open Merit
2. Deputy Director (Security)
- Number of Posts: 18
- Place of Posting: Various WAPDA Formations in Pakistan
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Retired officers of the rank of Major or equivalent from the Armed Forces.
- Preference given to those with relevant field experience.
- Maximum Age: 48 years
- Quota: Open Merit
Note:
- The appointment will be on a contract basis, initially for one year, extendable based on individual performance and organizational needs.
General Conditions & Instructions:
- Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
- Age relaxation is not permitted. Age will be calculated as of the last date of application submission.
- Original documents must be presented at the interview.
- Candidates dismissed on disciplinary grounds or debarred from future employment are not eligible.
- Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will be rejected.
- Any fraudulent information will lead to termination of employment.
- Applicants must be medically and physically fit.
- Project allowance is provided for postings at projects.
- Contract-based services will not be regularized.
- WAPDA reserves the right to cancel or withhold the recruitment process at any stage without explanation.
- The number of posts may change as per departmental requirements.
How to Apply:
- Interested candidates should visit the OTS website www.ots.org.pk to register and submit applications within 15 days of this advertisement.
- Pay the test fee of Rs. 200/- at any Bank Alfalah, HBL, or ABL branch using the prescribed Bank Challan form downloadable from the OTS website.
- Specify the post applied for and send the completed application form along with attested copies of educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC, retirement orders, relevant experience certificates, two recent passport-sized photos, and the original fee challan via courier or Pakistan Post to:
- Manager Operations (WAPDA), Open Testing Service, Office No.1, Central Avenue, Bahria Town Phase-VI, Islamabad
- OTS will notify candidates about roll number slips, test centers, test dates, and timings via text message.
- Hand-submitted applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.
