WE ARE HIRING

The HR Directorate of NADRA invites applications from highly skilled and experienced professionals under the provisions of Regulation 9, 10, and 11 of NADRA Employees (Service) Regulations, 2002.

NADRA is seeking professionals for the following positions:

1. Deputy Director (Database Security)

Age Limit: Maximum 44 years

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, or equivalent related field

• Master’s in a relevant subject is preferred

• 16 years of HEC-verified education is mandatory

• Degrees must be recognized and attested by HEC

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of technical hands-on experience in database security and database analytics

• Certifications preferred: IBM Guardium Admin, Oracle Database Security Administration, Database Foundations, Database SQL, CompTIA CySA, DataSys, or equivalent

Skills & Competencies:

• Plan, assess, and implement database security requirements

• Install, configure, and manage Guardium appliances for database monitoring and protection

• Design and implement database auditing, monitoring, and lifecycle management

• Generate vulnerability assessment reports and ensure timely patching

• Monitor databases, troubleshoot Guardium incidents, and coordinate with IBM support

• Automate reporting, analyze database risks, and identify security threats

• Work with system administrators for optimization and provision of Guardium appliances

2. Assistant Director (Database Security)

Age Limit: Maximum 37 years

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent

• Relevant Information Security certifications preferred

• 16 years of HEC-verified education is mandatory

• Degrees must be recognized and attested by HEC

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a reputable organization in Information Security, IT, Database Administration, or Network Device Administration

• Certifications/badges in IBM Security products or equivalent preferred

• Information Security certificates such as CySA, Data, or equivalent preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Install, configure, and manage Guardium appliances and agents on database servers

• Perform data discovery, classification, and prioritize security solutions

• Monitor and audit all database activities, including privileged user activity

• Analyze database risks, perform data analytics, and generate reports

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills

• Knowledge of scripting and automation for reports and robotic processes

Terms & Conditions:

1. Job Location: Islamabad

2. Contract Period: Initially 5 years, extendable based on performance

3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview

4. Providing false information will lead to disqualification

5. Employees from Government/Semi-Government departments must submit No Objection Certificate (NOC)

6. Selected candidates must provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates

7. No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview

8. Attested degrees from HEC or relevant regulatory bodies must be presented at interview
