We Are Hiring

Under the provisions of NADRA Employees (Service) Regulations, 2002, the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) is seeking skilled, qualified, and motivated professionals for the following position:

Position: Deputy Assistant Director (Technical)

Age Limit

  • Maximum 30 years (including 5 years general age relaxation)

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in:
    • Computer Science
    • Information Technology
    • Software Engineering
    • Or equivalent related field
  • Master’s degree will be preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of HEC-recognized education is mandatory
  • All degrees must be attested by HEC

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in:
    • IT infrastructure operations
    • Networking and communication systems

Preferred Certifications

  • CCNA
  • Cyber Security certifications
  • Active Directory expertise

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain servers and client systems for optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot applications, hardware, software, and network issues
  • Provide technical support for login, authentication, and access issues
  • Perform system updates and patch management
  • Monitor systems, maintain incident logs, and coordinate with support teams
  • Deliver 24/7 IT support and ensure timely resolution of incidents
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • Information security policies
    • SOPs and regulatory standards
  • Manage and update antivirus systems across all endpoints
  • Troubleshoot LAN connectivity issues (cabling, switches, ports)
  • Install and maintain:
    • Operating systems
    • Applications
    • Network components
  • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and log analysis
  • Configure and support:
    • Routing & switching
    • Firewalls
    • VLANs & VPNs
  • Manage core services:
    • DHCP, DNS, Active Directory
  • Conduct pre-deployment checks (network security, applications)
  • Support audits and compliance documentation
  • Assist in technical evaluation of tenders

Employment Terms

  • Contract-based position
  • 6-month probation period (extendable if required)
