The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is preparing for its 11th edition and seeks a dynamic, skilled, and result-oriented Consultant to assist with player acquisition for the upcoming tournament. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cricket, a deep understanding of player markets, and proven experience in managing sports talent and recruitment processes.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is the governing body responsible for the promotion, regulation, and development of cricket across Pakistan. The PCB oversees domestic and international cricket activities, ensuring the sport’s growth and excellence at all levels while maintaining professional and organizational integrity.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a HEC-recognized university.
At least 5 years of professional experience within a sports organization.
Prior experience in player acquisition or sports talent management will be preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Results-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend top-tier local and international cricket talent for PSL 11.
Scout emerging players and experienced T20 specialists from around the world.
Analyze player statistics, form, and suitability for PSL franchise teams.
Build and maintain strong networks with agents, cricket boards, and players.
Collaborate with PSL management and franchise owners on all player acquisition matters.
Oversee the end-to-end management of the player registration and selection process.
Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with leading cricket players and their representatives.
Work in coordination with the Finance team to ensure timely and efficient player payments.
Support the contracting process by liaising with the Legal team to draft, review, and manage player contracts in compliance with PCB policies.
