The Assistant Manager Procurement will be responsible for supporting and managing the Pakistan Cricket Board’s procurement activities and contract management processes. The role ensures the cost-effective, timely, transparent, and compliant acquisition of goods, services, and works in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and PCB policies.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is responsible for the promotion, development, and regulation of cricket in Pakistan. PCB maintains overall control of the game and is committed to excellence, integrity, and professionalism in all its operations.
Education
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
Professional certification such as CIPS will be considered an advantage.
Familiarity with ERP or Procurement Management Systems is required.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in government procurement or contract management.
Mandatory hands-on experience with PPRA EPADS.
At least 3 years of experience working with or providing services to Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Organizations, with demonstrated use of PPRA EPADS.
Experience in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, along with handling legal and regulatory compliance related to procurement or public sector projects, will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of PPRA EPADS, PPRA Rules, and public sector procurement frameworks.
Familiarity with ERP and procurement management systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and document management tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
High standards of ethics, transparency, and accountability.
Assist in planning and executing procurement activities for goods, services, and works in compliance with PPRA Rules and PCB policies.
Prepare and process purchase requisitions, RFQs, RFPs, and tenders, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely completion.
Ensure full compliance with internal policies, PPRA Rules, and applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
Coordinate with user departments to understand procurement needs, technical specifications, and delivery requirements.
Support contract drafting, issuance of purchase orders, and management of vendor agreements.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and effective resolution of issues.
Maintain complete and accurate procurement records and documentation to support audits and regulatory compliance.
Monitor and maintain records of vendor performance and contract execution.
