Career Opportunities – Contractual Positions

ZTBL is a ‘AAA’ rated, renowned specialized financial institution with a widespread branch network of over 500 branches across Pakistan. The Bank is seeking dynamic, challenge-oriented professionals with a strong track record to fill the following contractual positions for a transformative role in a demanding financial environment.


Available Positions (Contractual)


1. Chief Risk Officer (EVP/SEVP)

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in credit and risk management within the financial sector.

  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles, financial institution operations, and regulatory compliance.

Qualification:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized national or international institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive risk management framework aligned with regulatory standards and best practices.

  • Develop risk reporting systems and ensure accurate and timely reporting of credit, market, and operational risks.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risk in existing and new financial products and services.

  • Analyze risk data from branches and recommend special audits if significant deviations are found.

  • Perform risk assessment of high-credit-risk branches and recommend necessary inspections.

  • Any additional task assigned by the Bank’s management.


2. Head of Legal (SVP/EVP)

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in legal practice, preferably within the banking or financial sector.

Qualification:

  • LLB degree from an HEC recognized institution (national or international).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with Bank operations.

  • Ensure all legal documentation is prepared and executed in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

  • Review superior court decisions related to ZTBL and suggest policy changes accordingly.

  • Supervise 31 Legal Litigation Units (LLUs) across the country.

  • Oversee litigation related to statutory, corporate, tax, business, and service matters.

  • Maintain updated banking law compendiums and monitor new legislation and court rulings.

  • Provide legal interpretation and drafting with leadership capabilities.

  • Ensure compliance with SBP/SECP guidelines and all legal assignments as required by management.


3. Divisional Head Operations (SVP/EVP)

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in banking operations, with demonstrated leadership and strategic capabilities.

Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and optimize bank operations for efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage centralized operations and contribute to future strategic initiatives.

  • Formulate and implement operations strategies that align with the bank’s short- and long-term objectives.

  • Supervise operational activities across the branch network ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

  • Enhance internal controls and align with best practices to deliver high-quality banking services.

  • Oversee business continuity, contingency planning, and ensure uninterrupted operational processes.

  • Fulfill all internal and SBP reporting requirements accurately and on time.

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the management.


General Terms and Application Guidelines

  • Contract Tenure: Initial 5 years (extendable based on performance).

  • Remuneration: Market competitive.

  • Age Limit: Up to 60 years as of the application closing date.

  • Application Deadline: 06th July, 2025.

  • Interview Policy: Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews. No TA/DA will be admissible.

  • Eligibility Restrictions:

    • Individuals dismissed, discharged, retired compulsorily, or terminated on disciplinary grounds are not eligible.
