JOB OPPORTUNITY: CHIEF LOGISTICS OFFICER
Diamer Basha Development Company (DBDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of WAPDA and registered with SECP, provides specialized services in project management, strategic planning, supervisory functions, and all ancillary support required for the construction of the Diamer Basha Dam Project.
Position Details
Position Title: Chief Logistics Officer
Company: Diamer Basha Development Company (Pvt.) Ltd.
Location: Diamer Basha Dam Project Site – Chilas, Gilgit-Baltistan
Tenure: 3 years contract (includes 6 months probation period)
Age Limit: Maximum 55 years (as of the last date of application submission)
Pay Package: Competitive market-based lump sum salary, based on qualification and experience.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
MPA/MBA, preferably in Supply Chain Management
Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university
Experience
Minimum 20 years of total professional experience
Out of which:
Minimum 5 years in BPS-20 (or equivalent) in a Public Sector Organization, Company, or Pakistan Armed Forces
OR
Minimum 5 years in a senior management position in the Private Sector
Demonstrated national/international experience in:
Management of fleet movement and control
Transportation and recovery operations
Preference will be given to candidates with logistics experience on Karakoram Highway (KKH) and Northern Areas
Mandate / Key Responsibilities
Oversee all logistics-related matters, including:
Vehicle movement and fleet management
Warehousing and inventory logistics
Coordinate logistics operations across rugged terrains and sensitive routes (e.g., KKH)
Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Company
