Our client, a leading organization in the Oil & Gas sector, is seeking to appoint a visionary and strategic Group Chief Human Resources Officer. This is a high-level leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and business goals.
The Group CHRO will:
Lead the HR function across the group and subsidiaries.
Align HR initiatives with corporate strategy.
Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership and the board on all HR-related matters.
Promote a strong performance culture and support talent development and engagement.
Strategic Partnership:
Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership by aligning HR practices with organizational goals.
HR Strategy & Policy Development:
Design and implement comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that support the company's mission and long-term objectives.
Organizational Support:
Lead and coordinate HR policies, processes, training programs, and surveys to address the organization’s human capital needs.
Advisory Role:
Advise the leadership of the client organization and its subsidiaries on critical management and organizational issues.
HR Program Oversight:
Manage and oversee areas including:
Talent acquisition
Total rewards
Capability development
Performance management
Employee relations and grievance handling
Talent management
Learning and development
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure the organization complies with employment laws and HR best practices; regularly review policies and make adjustments to maintain compliance.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with HR trends, technologies, and regulatory updates. Communicate and implement relevant changes within the organization.
HR Team Development:
Promote and facilitate training, certification, and development of HR personnel.
Education:
MBA or MA/MS in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
At least 20 years of total experience, with 15-16 years in core HR functions.
Proven track record in strategic HR leadership roles.
Exceptional communication (written and verbal)
Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities
Organizational and time management proficiency
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Leadership and supervisory experience
Flexibility and adaptability to organizational needs
In-depth knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
