Our client owns one of the largest energy infrastructure networks in the country. They are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company through a critical phase of strategic growth and operational excellence. The role involves overseeing a comprehensive asset base, including marine terminals, pipelines, and a distillation unit, which are strategically positioned across major demand centers in the country.
This position reports directly to the Board of Directors and plays a central role in shaping the company's long-term vision, capital allocation strategy, governance framework, and organizational culture. As a joint venture of the nation's leading oil companies, the organization is poised to play a transformative role in the energy sector.
HSSE Leadership
Provide world-class leadership in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE), ensuring the highest safety standards in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
Strategic Oversight
Lead the development and execution of long-term business strategies, investment plans, and capital expenditure programs. Ensure financial stewardship and compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
Operational & Financial Management
Drive operational efficiency and financial performance in collaboration with the Board. Lead the execution of sustainable growth plans.
Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with regulatory bodies and key industry stakeholders to promote asset utilization and secure all necessary operational approvals.
Collaboration with Pipeline Operators
Work closely with pipeline operators to optimize cost, security, efficiency, and system performance within a complex socio-economic environment.
Technology & Safety Enhancements
Oversee the implementation of advanced monitoring systems, loss detection tools, and safety equipment to enhance service quality and operational reliability.
Industry Representation
Represent the company at national and international forums, exhibitions, and conferences, acting as a key ambassador for the organization.
Educational Requirements
Minimum of 16 years of formal education.
A degree from a recognized university in Engineering, Business, Economics, or Finance.
Professional Experience
A minimum of 25 years of total professional experience, with at least 8โ10 years in senior leadership roles in energy, chemical, power, or process industries.
Industry Expertise
In-depth knowledge of the countryโs supply chain dynamics, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.
Governance & Strategic Planning
Proven experience handling Board and shareholder affairs.
Expertise in formulating and executing strategic and operational excellence plans, including contractor and asset integrity management.
Commercial & Financial Acumen
Strong background in negotiation, risk management, and deal structuring.
Proficiency in managing complex budgets and financial forecasting.
Leadership Competencies
High personal integrity and strong collaboration skills.
Strategic thinking, sound decision-making abilities, and advanced problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation capabilities.
