Pakistan Railways Sukkur Division

Situation Vacant on Contract Basis

Applications are invited by Pakistan Railways Sukkur Division from retired Station Masters/Assistant Station Masters for appointment as Assistant Station Master Gr-I (BPS-10) on a contract basis for a period of one year, subject to the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility

  • Retired Station Masters/Assistant Station Masters from Sukkur Division or other Divisions are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates retired compulsorily, on medical grounds, or those removed or dismissed from service are not eligible for appointment.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Post:
    • Assistant Station Master Gr-I (BPS-10)
  2. Place of Posting:
    • Anywhere within the jurisdiction of Sukkur Division, as decided by the competent authority.
  3. Pay:
    • The pay will correspond to the stage of the time scale of the post the retired ASM/SM was drawing before retirement.

Additional Provisions

  • Selected candidates will be entitled to either an increase in pension or pay (one side only) as announced by the Government during the contract period.
  • Candidates must clear a prescribed Medical Fitness Examination conducted by the Divisional Medical Officer, Sukkur.
  • The competent authority reserves the right to reject any application without assigning a reason.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for interviews, medical examinations, or other formalities.

Submission of Applications

a) Only typed or computerized applications with complete biodata will be entertained.

  • Include telephone and mobile numbers on the application form.

b) Applications must be accompanied by attested copies of the following documents:

  1. Three passport-sized photographs.
  2. Copy of CNIC.
  3. Copy of Railway ID/Card.
  4. Photocopy of Pension Proforma/Authority Letter.
  5. Service Certificate.

c) Three postal envelopes with the applicant's complete home address, telephone, and mobile number must be attached.

d) Applications submitted by hand will not be accepted.

e) The last date for submission of applications is 14-12-2024.
