We Are Hiring

NADRA is seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to join its team for the position of Assistant Director (Security Operations Center – L2).

Position Details

Assistant Director (Security Operations Center – L2)

  • Job Location: Islamabad

  • Maximum Age: 37 years (inclusive of 5 years relaxation)

  • Educational Background:

    • Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, or equivalent.

    • Degrees must be recognized and attested by HEC.

Responsibilities and Key Duties

  • Monitor and analyze SIEM alerts and escalations from SOC L1.

  • Conduct detailed investigations of security events using tools such as SIEM, EDR, XDR, firewalls, and threat intelligence platforms.

  • Perform triage, initial incident classification, and escalate incidents to IR teams as needed.

  • Assist in containment, eradication, and recovery during security incidents.

  • Create and tune SIEM rules, correlation searches, and use cases.

  • Conduct threat hunting and proactive analysis of anomalies and attack patterns.

  • Collaborate with IT, network, and application teams during incident investigations.

  • Maintain detailed documentation and incident reports.

  • Stay updated on the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.

Professional Experience & Skills Required

  • Preferably 2 years post-qualification experience in Information Security within a reputable organization.

  • At least 1 year of experience in SOC operations/analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Elastic Security, QRadar, Splunk, ArcSight).

  • Familiarity with endpoint protection, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and malware analysis.

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, EC-Council CEH are preferred.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Selected candidate will be hired initially on a 5-year contract (extendable if required).

  2. NADRA management reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning a reason.

  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.

  4. Candidates providing false information will be disqualified.

  5. Employees from Government/Semi-Government departments must attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application.

  6. Selected candidates must provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.

  7. No TA/DA will be admissible for tests or interviews.

  8. Attested degrees from HEC or relevant regulatory bodies must be provided at the time of interview.
