Qualification & Experience

• Qualification:
  BSc in Civil Engineering (preferably higher qualification in Hydropower/Water Resources Engineering)

• Experience:

  • At least 30 years of extensive experience in Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering/Management

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience at a senior technical or managerial level

  • Proven experience as Project Director in major hydropower projects

  • Experience of working on Tarbela Dam will be considered an added advantage

  • Vast experience in:

    • Contract management

    • Project administration

    • Monitoring and coordination

    • Working with international financing organizations

Tenure

• Contract-based appointment

• Initially for 01 year, extendable based on satisfactory performance

---

Pay Package

• Market-based lump-sum pay package, commensurate with qualifications and experience

• The lump-sum pay package shall not be regularized at any stage

---

Mandate / Charter of Duties

• Review implementation progress of T4 & T5 HPPS and advise on corrective measures

• Provide guidance on:

  • Contract administration

  • Variations

  • Claims

  • Dispute resolution (in coordination with consultants)

• Assist in finalization and resolution of outstanding technical and contractual matters

• Support the Project Director in ensuring:

  • Compliance with World Bank financing and reporting requirements

• Advise on:

  • Project scheduling

  • Management

  • Resource optimization

• Review progress reports, milestone achievements, and key developments

• Submit recommendations to Member (Water) and Chairman WAPDA

• Perform any other duties assigned by WAPDA related to T4 & T5 HPPS

• Qualification:
  MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC)

• Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in medical administration

  • At least 1 year experience as:

    • Medical Superintendent (MS) or

    • Director Medical Services (DMS)
