Dubai: The Pakistan Youth Forum (PYF), the youth body under Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) will organize an iftar party on June 26th, 2016 to support the education of Pakistani students in United Arab Emirates.
The event named as “Fast for a Cause” would be organized at the Pakistan Auditorium in PAD and will bring the Pakistani community together to break their fast to support those families who have unpaid school bills to pay them off.
General Secretary of PAD, Dr Faisal Ikram said that:
This event will cover an iftar dinner, followed by an arts and crafts bazaar.
The profits generated from the sale of the arts and crafts items will donate for paying the unpaid school bills.
More than 250 members of the Pakistani community are expected to participate in this iftar dinner.

The PAD receives several requests for financial support to pay off the school bills. After getting through every case, the association, along with the support of community members, supports these concerned families.
In 2015, the associations with its Professional Wing support 150 aspirants and paid fees worth Dh714, 000.
This year, they have already assisted 98 children pay fees totaling Dh319, 000.
