Imran Khan generates over £600,000 for NAMAL at funding dinner in UK

London: Chairperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan raised up 660,000 pounds for NAMAL University in two fund raising dinners in London and Manchester on weekend and directly went back to Pakistan for the National Assembly session.

At funding dinner in Manchester, Imran told the audience on Sunday night that he wanted to deliver his most important speech in National Assembly in the presence of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

According to Sahibzada Jahangir, the senior adviser to Imran Khan in United Kingdom, in London fund raising dinner at Nawab restaurant on last Friday, £110,000 were collected however, he claims that the Manchester people were more liberal where £550,000 were collected.

He also told the media that he arranged London dinner in Nawab restaurant where all the expenditures were paid by the authorties of restaurant whereas the Manchester dinner was arranged by senior PTI leader Anil Mussrat, who runs his property business nationally and he has also some properties in London.

While addressing, PTI chairperson told more than thousand audience in Manchester that NUML University has to pay approximately £400,000 to Bradford University for its affiliation or contracted fee as well as the other charges annually, for this reason he has to come always to United Kingdom to meet these expenditures.

He moreover asked the British Pakistanis to support him bigheartedly because he wish to deliver Pakistani people a high standard education which is available in UK to everyone also including British Pakistanis.

With the help of education terrorism can be eradicated and future generations could be saved, said Imran Khan.

He also said “For this reason Pakistan would have to give more money in education zone like we have already done in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.” PTI chairman said that British Pakistanis are actually the backbone of economy of Pakistan and they should be given proper respect by the government of Pakistan and people of the country.

His senior adviser JAhangit told media that fundraising trip of Imran Khan was very successful. He said that Imran Khan was working very hard to change the future of country.
