Islamabad: The rector of National University of Science & Technology (NUST) Lieutenant General (R) Naveed Zaman called on the executive director of National Vocational and Technical Training Commission Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema, at the NAVTTC headquarters to explore the avenues of association among the two organizations.

The senior staff members of the NAVTTC and NUST were also present in the meeting. The complete presentations on the aims and objectives of the two organizations were shared during this meeting to find out the ways of taking forward the common aim of raising as well as cultivating a pool of adequately skilled Pakistani youth, as the most powerful and also the worthwhile tool of the socio economic progress of the state.

Different steps taken by the two groups were shared during the organized meeting and it was agreed that significant cohesion of objectives exists among the two groups, which would be used for improving the technical as well as technological abilities of Pakistani youngsters.

The two sides agreed that training relating to solar energy and some other abilities will be conducted in NUST whereas it will be funded by NAVTTC.
