Karachi, The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi on Wednesday announced the result of Higher Secondary Certificate Part-I Class XI Annual Examinations, 2012, Commerce Group, regular, and private.
According to the information, as many as 33,894 candidates, including 19,163 male and 14,731 female regular candidates were registered including 18911 male and 14549 female candidates who appeared in the examination. The pass percentage of male candidates in six papers is 44.22 and female candidates 51.90 percent. The results of 42 male and four female candidates have been withheld.
According to the notification, 8343 male and 7549 female candidates cleared seven papers, 3662 male and 2585 female candidates passed six papers, 2242 male and 1569 female candidates passed five papers, 1752 male and 1094 female candidates passed four papers, 1213 male and 782 female candidates passed three papers, 857 male and 571 female candidates passed two papers and 562 male and 318 female candidates passed only one paper.
The number of private students registered was 9,446 (6613 male and 2833 female) of whom 9043 including 6293 male and 2750 appeared in the examination. Results of 26 male candidates have been withheld.
According to result notification, 913 male and 666 female candidates passed seven papers, 1178 male and 477 female candidates passed six papers, 1248 male and 402 female candidates passed five papers, 1006 male and 392 female candidates passed four papers, 782 male and 342 female candidates passed three papers, 573 male and 208 female candidates passed two papers and 358 male and 186 female candidates passed only one paper.
