CSS Exam Eligibility Criteria 2016, CSS Exam Pakistan Eligibility
There are the following rules set to apply for CSS Exam 2019.
14 years of Formal education recognized by the HEC is required.
A candidate can possess any Bachelors Degree (B.A, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, LLB, MBBS etc.) from one of the Pakistani Universities or an equivalent degree or comparable educational qualifications of a foreign University recognized by Higher Education Commission, Islamabad.
The Bachelors degree must be passed with a minimum of 2nd Division i.e. C-Grade. Previous academic records (Matric/F.Sc etc.) do not matter in eligibility for CSS exams.
A candidate for admission to the examination must have attained the age of 21 years and not over 30 years on 31st December, 2017 (i.e. a candidate born on or before 31st December 1987 and on or after 2nd January, 1997 will not be eligible), except the candidate falling in the categories mentioned in Rule-3(ii) where any candidate born on or before 31st December, 1985 and born on or after 2nd January, 1997 will not be eligible.
Candidates for the examination must be a citizen of Pakistan or
a person deriving his/her nationality from the State of Jammu and
Number of Attempts: A candidate may attempt/avail three
chances of the examination within prescribed age limits.
