AFNS- General Nursing

• Gender: Female

• Educational Qualification: Matric with science and minimum 65% marks and intermediate with at least 60% marks.

• Age: 17 to 25 years

• Marital status: Female unmarried / widow / separated/ divorcee 

• Nationality: Pakistani 

• Height: 5 feet 2 inch/157.5 cm

• Weight according to body mass index (BMI) of the candidate

AFNS BSc Nursing

• Gender: Female

• Educational Qualification: Matric with science and minimum 65% marks and intermediate with at least 60% marks.

• Age: 17 to 25 years

• Marital status: Female unmarried / widow / separated divorcee without encumbrance

• Nationality: Pakistani 

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the female candidates who intend to join the Pakistan Army is mentioned below. 

• The candidates should have the Certificate/Detailed Mark sheet of FA/ FSC or equivalent study program. In case of any foreign qualification such as “O” levels and “A” level the equivalence certificate issued by IBCC is required.

• The candidates must have the computerized National Identity Card for 18 years and above along with the “B” form and Guardian’s National Identity Card if less than 18 years of age.

• The candidates who want to serve Pak Army must have 60% marks in F.A/ FSC are eligible to apply.

• The repeated candidates can also apply for the AFNS nursing after the submission of original as well as three photocopies of “Not Recommended” letters issued by ISSB.

Application Procedure

The Pakistan Army notifies the candidates about the career opportunities when available by publishing the advertisement. The candidates have to submit the application form and fulfill the registration requirements. If the registration of the candidate is accepted by the Pakistan Army Recruitment and Selection Center then the candidates will be called for the written test. The candidates after qualifying for the written test will then appear in the interview for the final selection. After the completion of the application procedure, the authorities select eligible and talented candidates based on their qualifications and performance in the selection procedure. 

Additional Instructions

• The candidates already screened by ISSB/GHQ Selection & Review Board twice are not eligible to apply again.

• The medically unfit female candidates are not eligible to apply for AFNS nursing.

• The female candidate who is convicted as an offense by Court or Law are also not eligible

• It is mandatory for the candidates to apply according to provided instructions and  fulfill all the requirements.
