The LAT (Law Admission Test) is the entry test that is taken by the students who want to pursue a career in Law. The test is taken by HEC (Higher Education Commission). It is also referred to as the “HEC LAT Test”.
LAT is just like the “GRE & GAT” test that is conducted in the University for the Graduation or Master’s level program.
The HEC LAT Test is the qualification for applying to the five-year LLB program and plays a significant role in determining an applicant's ability, interest, and career. The main purpose of the LAT Test is to determine and evaluate a student's aptitude for pursuing an LLB degree and a profession in the legal area, such as that of a lawyer, consultant, judge, or prosecutor, among other legal careers.
